I appreciate your concern regarding the importance and difficulty of constantly having to cold call this virgin territory. I understand the importance of cold calling, as it is a great and necessary start to any sales success. I have lived and breathed cold calling, as I built up a multi-million dollar territory doing just that. A led to B, and B led to C, and before you knew it, I had over 100 doors to call upon. All my successes in life came about as a result of hard work and I will hunt and knock on as many doors as it takes until I succeed. This, coupled with my extensive Property Management contacts, spawns in me the confidence that your firm will be very busy.
You said you didn’t expect me to make a sale in my first 90 days and I say why not? With so many superior services that you provide over the competition, and so much area to cover, this genuinely stands out as a win/win to me.
I also know from our conversation, that education and a cogent understanding of the services and products you offer, is critical. Hence, since you stated that the launching of this territory won’t begin until November or December… it gives me the perfect opportunity to dive in and do all the studying that is necessary – so I can hit the ground running on opening day. And it will never be an issue for me driving to headquarters, for as long as it takes.
