Position: Regional Industrial Coatings Sales Rep
Location: NY/NJ/CT Metro Area Home Base covering Mid Atlantic Territory
Company: Company supplies Powder Coating for over 25 years in the USA. The company operates from its office and warehouse facility of 10,000 Sq. Ft. in New Jersey. Company is a subsidiary of a leading manufacturer of powder coating. They export to the Middle East, USA & Europe regions. Their Line of products includes Architectural Polyester coating for outdoor applications along with Hybrids and Epoxies for interior use. They inventory a wide range of RAL colors and custom colors.
Sales Rep Overview: We are on the hunt for a hunter – a sales Rep. in the Powder Coatings industry who is ready to join our company in NJ and take on a large-scale sales territory.
We are looking for a strong skilled individual with a proven track record of developing new business relationships, acquiring new customers and handling customer care with the emphasis on service.
Responsibilities: Develop and communicate strategic sales plans to grow market share and sales revenue in the territory.
Grow market share by acquiring new customer accounts and growing existing accounts.
Sell Powder Coating products while maintaining profitability goals and emphasizing customer care.
Assist customers with product recommendations and introduction of new products.
Follow up on customer needs in regards to their purchase order delivery time, quality of the powder and powder specifications.
Solve customer problems in a timely manner.
Detailed periodic reporting on ongoing transactions.
Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of Powder Coating sales experience a plus. Other related industries acceptable.
Candidate with working experience from one of the following companies: Tiger, Protech, TCI, Sherwin Williams a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related sales experience.
Organized, independent self-starter.
Customer relationship management skills including sales forecasting a must.
Strong communication, sales negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work with small as well as large companies with diverse personnel.
Ability to read and understand product data sheets and safety data sheets.
Ability to travel approximately 75% of time.
Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint needed.
Must have a valid driving license and a car.
