POSITION: North America Sales Rep
LOCATION: United States / Canada Territory (work from home office)
OVERVIEW: The Sales Representative is responsible for sales in designated US regions and product ranges from company in accordance with the company’s sales team. In addition, please see the organizational chart job description.
- SALES ACTIVITIES
– Acquisition of new customers (end users)
– Key account management – weartest implementation/controlling/project management
– Training and establishing a dealer network
– Sales support of the dealer network
– Attendance at important regional/national trade shows
– Supervision, coaching and training of internal sale representatives (if applicable).
- SALES EFFORTS
– Inform the company’s sales team of the status of the activities in the designated region
– Situation of dealers/new accounts
– Forecast development/vision/opinion of the market
– Sales projects update
– Sales tools
– Competitive analysis
– Summary of customer visits with a “Visit Report” to be sent to the company sales team within 5 days of the visit and an average of 8 visits per week.
– Attend periodic sales meetings (typically 3 – 4 meetings per year)
– Compliance with the company brand image (clothing, sample bags, car logo, etc.)
- SALES AND MARKETING BUDGET
– Planning of sales tools and dealer materials in accordance with the company sales team and budget
– Planning and controlling of travel plans with company sales team
– Forecast and budget control of necessary marketing materials and sales actions (trade shows in territory, advertising in territory, other marketing in territory, travel costs in territory, wear tests in territory)
- MANAGEMENT OF DESIGNATED SALES REGION
– Analysis of monthly sales numbers/turnover
– Monitoring of marketing costs in territory (budget vs. actual)
– Ongoing economic analysis of dealer network
– Control of customer/dealer stock
– Supervision and control of dealer offers and price lists
– Forecasting of annual sales for territory
– Work together with Distribution regarding special product needs and order
- OTHER SKILLS
– Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
– Experienced in Microsoft Outlook
– Organizational skills
