POSITION: Holiday Display Sales Associate
LOCATION: New York City (Boroughs of: Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island and Manhattan)
Job Description: Well-established growing Designer, Manufacturer and Installer, specializing in dynamic and iconic brand environments, is seeking a well-connected, result oriented entrepreneurial Sales Associate. The team consists of our clients, sales, designers, model makers, procurement specialists, shop welders, carpenters, domestic and overseas factories who collaborate to create unique holiday visual events for retail stores, commercial office lobbies and public spaces that bridge brand and consumer.
We are looking for a high-performance front-line sales professional focused on growing company’s market share in the New York market. A minimum of 5 years selling to NYC Office Buildings, Hotels and/or Department Stores is important. The position involves selling high-end holiday programs to Class A Office Buildings, Hotels and/or Department Stores. You must have the ability to wear multiple hats including networking, developing design layouts, build and maintain client relationships, build and maintain internal team relationships, etc…
Required Skills: Develops, coordinates, and executes an effective sales strategy across assigned accounts to meet quarterly and annual sales targets. Provides direction within each assigned account on how to best allocate company’s resources. Manages accounts using data driven metrics. Builds and maintains close relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts. Enjoys networking with clients at events, outings and luncheons. Ability to cold call. Demonstrates a deep understanding of customers and their issues. Mobilizes and integrates company to create sales opportunities building and maintaining a customer-focused, cross-functional team of company and its manufacturing resources applied to create and satisfy customer opportunities. Closes profitable sales.

Proven experience with sales strategy and determining how to best position ones offering to support the needs of the customer and the strategy.
Excellent team player and can easily engage others to support the broader strategy.
Must have a broad exposure and understanding of developing sales strategies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of CRM.
Education and Experience:
Business/related degree preferred and experience required.
Proven track record selling goods and/or services to the specific clients described.
A minimum of 5-10 years of experience with a proven sales record.
Selling experience with 3-12 month sales cycle required.
